Bergedent a été fondé en 1989 par le Dr Tunç Berge, MSc, à Bakırköy — l’un des quartiers médicaux les plus établis d’Istanbul. Une deuxième clinique a ouvert à Vadistanbul, Sarıyer, pour les patients venant du nord d’Istanbul et des aéroports internationaux.
